Hotel Canterville

Last Tuesday 16th January, fifty students of our first bilingual course attended a play called “Hotel Canterville” which was performed by Face to Face Theatre Company. It was a funny and great experience where some students could act and the public participated actively as well.

Christmas Events

As you could read in our last post, we finished the year singing some of the most famous Christmas songs

But we also did a lot of other activities to celebrate the end of the year …. decorating our classes, the hall, the stairs …. with Christmas images and symbols…

Wishing the best for the new year

And we had a Christmas Cards Contest whose winners were

Alejandro Espinosa, Nicolle Veliz and Lucía Arenas

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Not only the bilingual courses participated in these activities but also some other classes from different levels creating the best background to welcome the year 2018

                          Happy New Year!!!

The Supporting Act

This video is a BBC advertisement and it shows what parents and children do everyday .

How often do you and your parents do things together?

Do your parents pay attention to you? And you?

Do you share activities with them?

Preparing Christmas Activities

1 ESO students are preparing several activities to celebrate the end of the year : Classroom decoration, watching films, singing Christmas Carols, reading traditional short stories, recording a video about this celebration, making a Wishing Wall , sending Christmas cards, etc.

We will post photos and comments of our activities in following entries. Here they are  the songs we are rehearsing:

“Jingle Bells Rock” (1º ESO A)

“Last Christmas” (1º ESO B)

” Rockin´ around the Christmas Tree” (1º ESO C)

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women 25 November

Our students made some posters in English to express their opinions against Gender Violence and these slogans and drawings were placed on the walls of our building to show all the people in the street our feeling about this terrible fact. This was one of the several activities which were held in our school last 25th November. We wish a brighter future without violence and these actions encourage us to get our goal.
