En el per\u00edodo comprendido entre el 18 y el 24 de marzo de este a\u00f1o,\u00a0 un total de 24 alumnos y alumnas del IES Celia Vi\u00f1as ha tenido la oportunidad de realizar una actividad de inmersi\u00f3n ling\u00fc\u00edstica en el Reino Unido<\/strong>, asistiendo<\/span> a clase de ingl\u00e9s durante todas las ma\u00f1anas, con profesores nativos.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s del “Lunch”, siempre se han realizado visitas culturales a la preciosa ciudad de Bath, Patrimonio de la Humanidad<\/em>. Han visitado The\u00a0<\/em> Royal Crescent<\/em> y the Circus<\/em>, conjunto de edificaciones del siglo XVIII, rompedores en su estilo arquitect\u00f3nico y de un belleza y armon\u00eda singular. Tambi\u00e9n han realizado una visita a The\u00a0 Roman\u00a0 Baths<\/em>, donde la influencia de la Roma cl\u00e1sica es patente\u00a0 e impresiona ver su estilo en los alejados confines del imperio.<\/span><\/p>\n

Asimismo, han estado en La abad\u00eda de Bath<\/em>, el puente Pulteney<\/em> , el museo de la moda<\/em>, d\u00f3nde el alumnado tuvo la ocasi\u00f3n de vestirse con vestidos de la \u00e9poca, la Galler\u00eda de Arte<\/em> y visitas continuadas y muy bien explicadas a la ciudad donde vivi\u00f3 una de las mejores novelistas brit\u00e1nicas del siglo 18, Jane Austen.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Al atardecer se regresaba a las viviendas y tomaban la “dinner” con sus familias de acogida. Este ha sido el modo de su alojamiento y un est\u00edmulo permanente para mejorar su nivel oral de ingl\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finalmente, han visitado la ciudad de Oxford<\/em>, durante todo un d\u00eda\u00a0 y la ciudad de Wells<\/em> durante medio d\u00eda, ambas de gran inter\u00e9s por su fama y belleza.<\/span><\/p>\n

En opini\u00f3n del alumnado, el viaje les ha parecido muy satisfactorio, empuj\u00e1ndoles a implicarse m\u00e1s\u00a0 en el estudio de la lengua inglesa , la cultura y modo de vida de un pa\u00eds que, en su mayor\u00eda, visitaban por primera vez.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los profesores acompa\u00f1antes han sido:\u00a0<\/span> Ra\u00fal S\u00e1nchez Quesada<\/em> y Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Garro Lara<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From 18th to 24th March 2018, a total of 24 students at Celia Vi\u00f1as High School had the opportunity to carry out an activity of language immersion in the UK, attending lessons every morning with native teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n

After lunch there were cultural visits to the beautiful city of Bath, a World Heritage<\/em> site. They visited The Royal Crescent<\/em> and The Circus<\/em>, designed as luxurious buildings in the 18th century, which are ground-breaking in their architectural style and of singular beauty and harmony. They also visited the Roman Baths,<\/em> where the influence of classical Rome is patent and its style in the far boundaries of the Empire is impressive.<\/span><\/p>\n

They visited Bath Abbey<\/em> too, Pulteney bridge<\/em> , The Fashion Museum<\/em> where the students had the chance to try on historical garments, The Art Gallery<\/em> and many other well-explained visits to the city where one of the best novelists of the 18th century, Jane Austen<\/strong> lived.<\/span>
\n Finally, they also went on a day trip to Oxford and the city of Wells, both of great interest for their fame and beauty.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the students\u2019 opinion, the trip was really enjoyable, all of them had a great time and now feel more motivated to learn the English language, its culture and the lifestyle of a country which, most of them, were visiting for the first time<\/span><\/p>\n
